A structured 5-phase approach to establish and nurture Farmer Producer Organizations
Organizations apply through Expression of Interest (EOI) process. Selection based on experience, team capability, and financial strength.
CBBO identifies potential clusters (geographical area with common crops/activities) for FPO formation.
Awareness campaigns and meetings to educate farmers about FPO benefits and membership.
Assistance with legal formalities, documentation, and registration under appropriate act (Companies Act, Cooperative Societies Act etc.)
